There are six lights on your Livebox 2 that indicate whether or not the Internet services are working properly. Read below to understand what each light means.
Livebox lights cannot be deactivated.
Power light
The power light
must be lit solid green.

The light flashes green when the Livebox has just been switched on and then turns solid green.
Internet light
If the Internet light
is lit solid green, it means the Livebox is connected to Internet.

There are three possible statuses:
aRapidly flashing red (5 times a second):
- A red light flashing rapidly is normal when the Livebox starts up and should last about 20 seconds.
- If the light continues flashing red rapidly, it means your Livebox was unable to get synchronized.
bSlowly flashing orange (once a second):
- An orange light flashing slowly is normal when the Livebox starts up, after the rapidly flashing red light phase. This means your Livebox is connecting to Internet. It is checking your logins for connection.
- The light turns solid green afterwards.
cOff: there's no Internet connection.
Telephone light
The solid green telephone via Internet light
means the telephone via Internet service is activated and available.

There are two other statuses for the telephone via Internet light:
aFlashing green: the telephone connected to the Livebox is off the hook or a telephone call is underway.
bOff: you do not have telephone via Internet service or you are encountering a problem with that service.
Local network light
There are two different statuses for the local network light
:
aFlashing green: your Livebox is exchanging data with your computer.
bOff: no data is being exchanged with your computer.
This status is normal; it does not indicate a problem related to the Livebox.
Wi-Fi light
The Wi-Fi (or wireless connection) light
is lit solid green when the function is activated.

There are two other statuses for this light:
aRapidly flashing green (5 times a second): the easy Wi-Fi mode is activated.
This stage is only possible with the install CD supplied in the Livebox pack, which is required to connect a computer running Windows 7 in WPS to the Livebox 2.
bOff: the Wi-Fi is deactivated.
activate/deactivate the Livebox Wi-Fi
Update light
The update light
indicates that a Livebox update is underway. The update is automatic; you have nothing to do.
There are three possible statuses:
aOff: no updates are underway.
bFlashing blue: a Livebox update is underway.
cSolid blue + @ light lit solid red: a problem occurred during the update.
