put your Livebox in Pairing mode

 Pairing is a required step in configuring the  Wi-Fi connection between your Livebox and your wireless hardware.
This step does not concern Livebox 2.

The procedures explained in this section:

pairing mode

Pairing is a step that lasts 10 minutes during which your Livebox is going to authorize the wireless hardware to connect.
During this step, you can configure the Wi-FI connection for your computer or for any other peripheral device.

aIf you have a Sagem or Thomson/inventel Livebox:

You have to pair your Livebox to connect a computer or a peripheral device.

bIf you have a Livebox mini:

You don't have to pair your Livebox mini to connect a computer or other hardware to Wi-Fi.
You just need to indicate the Livebox security key when requested.

When the Wi-Fi connection does not activate, especially with some game consoles, you have to pair the Livebox mini.

cIf you have a Livebox 2:

You don't have to pair Livebox 2 to connect a computer or other hardware to Wi-Fi.
You just need to indicate the Livebox security key when requested.

aPairing the Livebox mini

• Press the Wi-Fi button for one second. The button is on the side of your Livebox.
  
  
• The Wi-Fi light starts flashing. Your Livebox will stay in pairing mode for 10 minutes. During that time, you should enter your Livebox security key to validate the connection between your  Livebox and your Wi-Fi hardware.

b Pairing the Sagem Livebox

• Press the pairing button located on the bottom of your Livebox for more than 5 seconds.
  
  
• The Wi-Fi light starts flashing. Your Livebox will stay in pairing mode for 10 minutes. During that time, you should enter your Livebox security key to validate the connection between your Livebox and your Wi-Fi hardware.

cPairing the Thomson/Inventel Livebox

• Press the pairing button (button 1) located on the back of your Livebox for more than 5 seconds.
  
  
• The Wi-Fi light starts flashing. Your Livebox will stay in pairing mode for 10 minutes. During that time, you should enter your Livebox security key to validate the connection between your Livebox and your Wi-Fi hardware.
