To improve its stability and performance, your Livebox is regularly updated automatically. You don't have to do anything.
The Livebox 2 updates that take place from August 18 to September 19, 2011 reset the password for accessing your Sagem Livebox 2 interface. If you had previously changed it, it reverts back to admin by default.
how your Livebox behaves during updates
1The lights on your Livebox are going to have unusual behavior:
- For Livebox 2 and Livebox mini, the update light will flash blue.
- For Sagem and Thomson/Inventel Livebox models, the lights flash at regular intervals.
2You don't have anything to do. Do not unplug your Livebox during an update.
3Updates last approximately 10 minutes and you will temporarily lose your internet connection and the services associated to it (telephone, TV, etc.).
4When the internet @ light stays lit, the update is over and successfully completed. All of your services are operational again.
The update may take longer depending on the workload of the update servers. Don't worry so long as the flashing light does not last more than an hour.
If the flashing light lasts more than an hour, you can reboot your Livebox to restart the update.
