You can easily connect it via Ethernet whatever your Livebox model and computer Operating System (PC Windows 7/Vista, XP or MAC).
The procedures explained in this section :
requirements
1Your Livebox should already be installed and connected to Internet.
2Make sure there is an Ethernet port available on your Livebox, by disconnecting your old computer, for example.
Ethernet cable installation
The Ethernet connection icon in the taskbar system tray on the bottom right-hand corner of your screen indicates whether your computer Ethernet port is available or not.

1Plug one end of the red Ethernet cable into the Livebox Ethernet port and the other end into the computer Ethernet port.
2The status of the Ethernet icon changes. Check to see if the Internet connection is working properly by clicking on the icon.

No operations or setting changes are required. The connection is automatic whatever the computer Operating System (Windows XP/Vista, Windows 7, or MAC).
