To connect a computer to Wi-Fi via the Livebox, you have to configure the Wi-Fi connection on your computer so that it communicates with your Livebox.
Below are the procedures to follow with Windows 7 no matter which Livebox model you have.
The procedures explained in this section:
1Your Livebox has to be installed and connected to internet. The @ light should be on and constant, not flashing.
2Activate the Wi-Fi function on your Livebox.

3Activate the Wi-Fi function on your computer.
As a general rule, the Wi-Fi function is activated by pressing a button designated to that function or by pressing a combination of keys on the keyboard. If needed, check your computer user guide.
If your computer is not equipped with the Wi-Fi function, you have to install a Wi-Fi adapter.

1If you have a Sagem or Thomson/Inventel Livebox, you need to put your Livebox through the pairing process.
Otherwise, go to the next step.
2In the taskbar system tray, click on the Network icon, indicating whether or not connections are available.
3The Wi-Fi access points within the computer's range are listed. From the list, select the Livebox you want to connect to. It is identified by a name (or SSID) such as Livebox-xxxx, or Wanadoo_xxxxx, shown on your Livebox ID sticker.
4Tick the Automatic connection option if you want to use this function then click on Connect.
5Enter the security key (in UPPERCASE without spacing) located on your Livebox ID sticker and click OK.
We recommend NOT ticking the Hide the characters option, to make entering the security key easier.
6Wait for the connection.
7When you connect for the first time, Windows 7 asks you to choose one of three network locations: home, work or public. Choose the location most appropriate for your use and the security level you want.
9The Network icon located in the taskbar on the bottom right-hand corner of the screen should indicate that you are currently connected to the Livebox.
With the Automatic Connection option the connection to Internet is automatically established when your computer is within range of your Livebox and your Livebox is correctly configured. You can now access Internet without making any additional configurations or software installations.
10Open your browser to make sure the Internet access is working.
