configure your computer connection
1If you have a Sagem or Thomson/Inventel Livebox, you need to put your Livebox through the pairing process.
Otherwise, go to the next step.
2In the menu bar, click on the Apple icon and select System Preferences....

3The System Preferences window opens. In the section Internet and wireless, click on the Network icon.

3Then select AirPort in the menu on the left. If Airport is deactivated, click on Turn AirPort On.
Make sure you tick the options Ask to join new networks and Show AirPort status in menu bar.

4Click on Advanced..., the network settings window opens the AirPort tab directly. If that is not the case, click on the AirPort tab.
Click on the + sign located below the Preferred Networks zone to add your wireless network connection.

5A window opens asking the name of the network to be added. Click on Show networks to see the list of access points within range.

6Select your Livebox in the list and enter its security key (in UPPERCASE without spacing) in the Password box. The security key is indicated on your Livebox ID sticker.
You can tick the box Show password so that the key is visible as you enter it to avoid typing errors.
Tick the box Remember this network so you will not have to retype the security key upon reconnecting. Then click on Add.

7The Network window opens and shows a summary of the connected interfaces. The AirPort light is green.

8Your AirPort wireless connection is now operational. Open your browser to test the display of webpages.
